This week's wine night, Summer Wines, was a mega-sized version of wine night, with 50 people in attendance. The last minute jump to 50 folks threw our kitchen into overdrive to prep extra courses for everybody, and they really rose to the challenge, pulling it off without a hitch! 
Summer Wine Night featured classic hot-weather favorites, and a couple of new discoveries, including a bright Sauvignon Blanc with Watermelon Napoleon, and young, fresh Vinho Verde with the Shrimp Ceviche & Mango Salsa pictured above, a fruit-heavy Pinot Gris with a Chicken Piccata, and little fresh Peach Galettes served with a hearty Rosee from Provence. 


We have exciting news on the Wine Night front:  This past Monday's Wine Night was actually May's event, since the 4th Monday of the month fell on Memorial day, SO… there is actually *another* wine night coming up on Monday, June 22nd, this one featuring rarely examined Greek wines!  We'll be pairing exotic and interesting Greek Wines with very traditional Grecian & Mediterranean cuisine.  Who wouldn't want to be in on some sunbleached Grecian Beach right now?  If we can't fly everybody to Greece, we can at least bring a taste of Greece to you!
